You're a mum. Your time is precious, but so are you.
This Mother's Day, BreastScreen SA is raising awareness for breast cancer screening in partnership with the Mother's Day Classic and Adelaide Football Club.
The promotions will begin at the Mother's Day Classic, in the early hours of Sunday morning at Pinky Flat, Adelaide.
BreastScreen SA will be participating in the event as a team and hosting a stall in the event village. Staff are looking forward to talking to attendees about breast screening and taking bookings for eligible women.
As the events of the Classic conclude, promotions kick off across the road at the Mother's Day game at Adelaide Oval.
BreastScreen SA's Mobile Screening Unit will be set up on War Memorial Drive, open for fans crossing the footbridge and entering the oval through the South Gate. Our Mother's Day message will be playing on the super screens for thousands of fans as they enter the stadium.
At 12:40pm, the Adelaide Crows will bounce off against St Kilda. Throughout the game, BreastScreen SA's messages will be shown to over 50,000 fans around the stadium, including live reads and bright pink ribbon boards circling the ground.
Join us in raising awareness for breast cancer screening this Mother's Day. If you're going to one of the events - keep an eye out for us and come say hello!
And remind mum to book her mammogram. It is 15 minutes, every two years.
