BreastScreen SA is proudly celebrating NAIDOC Week from 4 to 11 July!

This year’s theme is Heal Country, which is inherent to the identity of First Nations people. It calls for all of us to continue to seek greater protections for our lands, our waters, our sacred sites and our cultural heritage from exploitation, desecration, and destruction.

First Nations people speak of Country like a person, sustaining our lives in every aspect – spiritually, physically, emotionally, socially, and culturally. Country is more than a place – it is identity.

The NAIDOC artwork is named ‘Care for Country’ and was designed by Gubbi Gubbi artist Maggie-Jean Douglas.
