Are you a qualified radiographer or sonographer with an interest in preventative women’s health?
BreastScreen SA is seeking professional, passionate radiographers and sonographers to join their team in delivering the state’s free screening mammography program to South Australian women for the early detection of breast cancer.
Radiographers at BreastScreen SA enjoy flexible working arrangements (with no requirement for shift work or on-call), with full time, part-time and casual roles available within the service’s highly motivated radiography workgroup. There is also a choice of working within the program’s 8 fixed metropolitan clinics, or on board one of three 3 mobile screening units that travel across the state, every 2 years.
Qualified breast sonographers work within the program’s dedicated Assessment Clinic in Adelaide to assess areas requiring further investigation as identified at screening. This is an opportunity to work within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, including some of South Australia’s premier breast radiologists.
Free training and continued professional development are provided through the program’s dedicated training centre, in partnership with UniSA, towards an ASMIRT Certificate of Mammographic Practice.
