Many women find comfort and strength in doing things with friends, and breast screening is no different.
BreastScreen SA offers group bookings so that women can support each other to have a breast screen.
We provide group bookings for various groups. Some of these include:
- multicultural community groups
- Aboriginal health services
- disability groups
- workplaces
- community and sporting groups.
Group bookings are the same as regular screening appointments – each woman still has her own private screening. The only difference is that a number of appointments are booked on behalf of a group.
Women can come along together to the clinic, enjoy a morning tea, have a chat with our radiographers and educators, and then have a breast screen.
We can accommodate groups as large as 20.
